Today is a special birthday shout-out to a mentor and friend who helped in my overall development. It was 2018 after binge-watching Orange Is the New Black, there was an actress who I was familiar with known as Stephanie Andujar.

At that time, I was a person doing blogs on my own and was in my final year as an undergrad at Southern New Hampshire University. The first interaction I ever had with Stephanie Andujar was praising her for her role on the show.

Little did I know, she also had a secret of her own, which consisted of her appearing on Blue Bloods. It was hard to contain the excitement during the first interview. Not long after, her episode aired and it became clear that she is just getting started.

Stephanie’s ambitions didn’t end with just her first appearance on Blue Bloods, but her endeavors were not just for herself and her own accolade building. She took me in unexpectedly and she started to teach and show me the ropes of the entertainment industry.

She whipped me into shape and prepared me for multiple avenues when it comes to myself as a writer, but she saw me as more than a writer. That much I didn’t understand, but I soon found out how life was going to change knowing this entertainer.

When watching videos on YouTube, it’s all about wanting to be entertained. These kinds of videos tend to be ones that make people laugh and ones that people can watch over and over again. Different from the more serious genres that Stephanie was part of on the big screen.

Being able to focus on Stephanie’s one-woman show, which has a special place on YouTube. The show gives joy and smiles and especially during a time like Covid-19, having some laughs and someone giving joy. She is known for appearing in serious crime dramas, so seeing her take this measure was a great change of pace. Most of all, she enjoys every minute of it!

The show has gone on for five seasons, and it has truly been a trip. It’s perhaps the most binge-worthy show to not be on Netflix today. She has shown that she is not just a crime drama actress, but she has a great stretch capability.

That’s not all Stephanie contributes though, when she is not making guest appearances on television shows, mentoring, or doing her one-woman show, she is also singing and vlogging. She does it all and yet she remains down to Earth about every accolade she has gained.

She could seriously release a whole album and it would get a positive reaction for her vocal range and the raw emotion she displays in every song. She is truly an all-around performer and one of the most talented to grace shows and movies.

When it comes to my own interactions with Stephanie, she has a way of pushing people to try things they have never done before. I have never interviewed a person before, done video edits, or used Instagram to promote videos.

Stephanie has all that experience and it took a long time to understand that she not only believes in herself but pours her enthusiasm and ambition into people on a daily basis. She is not only one of the most talented but also the most unselfish in the entertainment world today.

One can hope she appears on Blue Bloods again reprising her role as Molly and continuing the storyline and pushing it forward. No matter where she ends up next, it will be a treat to be graced by her presence once more.

She is truly a gift to the entertainment world and a true artist that leaves people wanting more. Wish her a very happy birthday and all of us are grateful every single day for her endless work and driven spirit that is nothing short of inspiring.
