There have been a lot of exciting and eventful things happening lately. Some projects have lifted off and others fell apart. So what has been new lately? There is a new comic series titled Apocalypse Life. Deciding to create Apocalypse Life was not an easy decision. The planning stage started after a short movie was put on hold. it was obvious Apocalypse Life was something special from the very beginning.

This project almost didn’t happen for numerous reasons. For one, a comic is something that wasn’t first on my list. My main thing is building scripts for film, but the major setback is budget and trying to gain enough funds to produce it.

It eventually became a decision to create Apocalypse Life, but comic artists also cost money and the same dilemma set me back to stage one. It was very frustrating and eventually, the idea of using a program to create stories became a possibility.

Initially, I didn’t like the idea since there are limitations for what I can and can’t do. After the release of the first episode, all the nerves went away as people gave positive reactions to it.

Even with limitations, I was able to plan a whole series with compelling character traits that play in harmony with the storyline. The story is non-canon to the other two original zombie story creations, which presented a new opportunity to create a whole other apocalypse universe that is separate from the previous series.

The current story focuses on danger for a loving couple Janine and her husband Carter as their lazy Saturday sleep-in gets interrupted by a sudden zombie apocalypse. They’re facing struggles from their own desires to go back to a normal life to facing dangerous people.

Right now, the survivors are facing a pre-apocalypse gang known as the Hawks. Their world has become that much more dangerous with little tools and knowledge to survive and them learning every little thing as they go on.
